Pixel Painted Tweety

This tutorial was written entirely by me on July 25, 2004. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written using Paint shop Pro 8.10 but can be done using PSP 7 as well.
For this tutorial you will need Jasc Paint Shop Pro. You can download a 30 day free trial HERE. No outside filters are needed.
Right click and save the below outline to your hard drive, or just drag it into your PSP work space. Duplicate the image (Shift-D) and save the original for later use.

Go to Image/Increase Color Depth and Increase the color to 16 million colors.

Add a new raster layer and using either black or another dark color of your choice, trace the outline onto the new layer. Once that is completed, delete your background layer. (Highlight your background layer on the layer palette, right click and chose "Delete.")
On your Materials palette, make your foreground color #FDF310 and your background color #FDA914. Make your foreground the Foreground-Background gradient, Sunburst, with the horizontal 29 and vertical 26. Put a check mark in "Link center and focal points." (See screen shot.)

Holding down the shift key and with your magic wand, tolerance 0, feather 0, click inside Tweety's head. Don't forget the spaces between his eye lashes. Flood fill with your gradient.
To do these steps, it may be a bit easier to zoom in a bit. The screen shot below is of the image zoomed to about 300%.

Deselect (Selections/Select None).
