Zooming In and Setting the Grid

To save my eyes a lot of strain when doing pixel painting, I zoom in by 5 twice and turn the grid on with horizontal and vertical each set at one pixel. I will show you how this is done in both PSP 7 and PSP 8.

1. Zoom in by 5 twice: View/Zoom In By 5

2. Repeat above steps

1. View/Zoom/Zoom In By 5 Steps

2. Repeat above steps

3. Set the Grid to 1 pixel horizontal and vertical. View/Change Grid and Guide Properties.

4. Make sure the Units are set to Pixels, and change the Horizontal and Vertical spacing to 1. You can make the Line color the color of your choice.

4. In the Current image settings, change the Horizontal and Vertical grids to 1. Make sure the Units is set to Pixels. You can make the Color, any color of your choice.
