Image, Add Border, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color: black. (Right click in the color box and select black.) Make sure there's a check in "Symmetric" and you'll only have to enter the 1 once. All added borders in this tutorial will be symmetric.

Image, Add Border, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color: white. (Right click in the color box to select white, it's the only change you should have to make.)

With your magic wand, mode: Add(shift) [You can also use Replace, I just happen to always have mine set to Add(Shift)], Match mode: RGB Value, Tolerance 0; Feather 0, anti-alias checked (see image), click on the white border (you may have to zoom in to see it) and fill with the gold foil. Selections, Select None.

Image, Add Border, Symmetric, 5 pixels, color: white. With your magic wand, same settings, click on the white border and flood fill with the gold pattern. While still selected, Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel with the following settings:

Bevel #2, Width=1, Smoothness=0, Depth=1, Ambience=50,
Shininess=0, Color=white, Angle=315, Intensity=30, Elevation=25

Selections, Select None.

Image, Add Border, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color: white. With your magic wand, click on the white border and fill with the gold pattern. Selections, Select None

Image, Add Border, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color: black.

Image, Add Border, Symmetric, 15 pixels with your foreground color (#7c1400). With your magic wand, select your colored border. Effects/Plug-Ins/Filter Factory A: Holidays in Egypt with the following settings:

Size: 15, second line: 47

If you don't use my image or colors, you may have to adjust the settings to suit your image.

While still selected, Effects, Plug-Ins, FM Tool Tiles, Blend Emboss at the default settings. Repeat the Blend Emboss 1 to 2 more times (I repeated 1 time). Do not deselect!

Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel with the following settings:

Bevel #2, Width=13, Smoothness=16, Depth=3, Ambience=0,
Shininess=0, Color=white, Angle=315, Intensity=44, Elevation=33

Effects, Plug-Ins, FM Tool Tiles, Blend Emboss

Selections, Select None

Image, Add Border, symmetric, 1 pixel, color: black.

Image, Add Border, symmetric, 2 pixels, color: white. With your magic wand, same settings as above, click on the white border and flood fill with the gold pattern. Selections, Select None.

Image, Add Border, symmetric, 3 pixels, color: white. With your magic wand, same settings as above, click on your white border and flood fill with your gradient. While still selected, Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel with the below settings:

Bevel #2, Width=1, Smoothness=0, Depth=1, Ambience=50,
Shininess=0, Color=white, Angle=315, Intensity=30, Elevation=25

Selections, Select None.

Image, Add Border, symmetric, 2 pixels, color: white. With your magic wand, same settings as above, click on the white border and flood fill with the gold pattern. Selections, Select None.

Image, Add Border, symmetric, 1 pixel, color: black.

Image, Add Border, symmetric, 20 pixels, color: your foreground color (#7c1400). Effects, Texture Effects, Fine Leather as below:

color: white, Angle: 0, Blur: 30, Transparency: 250, Number of furrows: 30, Length of furrows: 4

Do not deselect!
