With your magic wand, select the newly added white border and flood fill with the gradient.

Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply an inner bevel with these settings:

Selections/Select None.

Background color black, Image/Add Border, add a border of 1 pixel.
Background color you chose (#DACAC6), Image/Add Border, add a border of 1 pixel
Background color black, Image/Add Border, add a border of 1 pixel. (Remember this step, we'll be repeating it a couple more times.)

Background color white, add a border of 15 pixels. With your Magic Wand, feather and tolerance at 0, select your border and go to Effects/Plug-in Filters/VM Natural/Cross Weave with the following settings:

Do not deselect. If you did not use my image or gradient, you'll have to play around with the red, green and blue slider until you find the color you want. Write them down because you'll be using those numbers later in the tutorial.

With your border still selected, Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply an inner bevel with the following settings:

Selections/Select None

Your image should be looking something like this .... but bigger:
